Tea Experience
So to further push my idea of Tea mixed with social class, I conducted a few varied questionnaires to collect some data. The results were interesting. But to see what the public where saying I decided to go to a few tea experiences my self, below I have posted a selected few images from some of the experiences I en-counted.
This was at Fortman and Masons, excellent service and some excellent choices of tea on display, you felt like you was upper class, even though ironically the tea cups and tea pots were quite ordinary. Just the touch of the silver spoon and strainer that gave it its delicate twist on a classic tea set.

Etiquette of an English Tea
This book is an amazing read if you want to learn a little history of how to drink like an upper class British citizen.

Media, Culture and Society
Media, Culture and Society
I recently got this book from the library because I believe it will help me understand the current society that we live in, moreover help me understand the Marxist theory and how I could tie up social class within my final major project.
Finally potentially something might derive from the book as a potential disobedient object.

Timelines
Below I have posted two timelines, the first one is an overview of what I'll be doing during my first Term and the second one is of more detail to what I'll be doing each week up until the end of first Term.

What I've Learnt
In recent weeks, I've been focusing my final major project in conjunction with projections and installations.
Within the past 2-3 weeks I started to experiment with over head projections, digital projector and mixing the mediums with 3D visuals, after looking at recent outcomes I decided it is not right to start doing these mini experiments because they didn't give me a clear direction or a strategy to go with.
Nevertheless I'm not ruling out potentially using projections, or creating an installation, I just need to do more informative research to set up a strong question, in to why I'm doing my final major project? what's the purpose? and most importantly will my research potentially help in the future.
Finally going back to the poem I was looking at previously, 'London' by William Blake, I'm now going to focus my attention on London as one subject firstly, then try to find a disobedient object within London or possibly Britain from the past 30-50 years.
