Lenscape by Kine Solberg
Even though on my recent posts I have talked about doing something on the lines of re-imagining a futuristic city of London, or recreating parks but underground yet again in London, however I do like the aesthetic side of architecture and all the various materials, forms, narrative, utilities and it's purpose's it has in every day life.
What Kine Solberg has done is genius, re-imagining what the landscape would look like through different proportional lenses, I mean our eyes see all at pretty much 100% all the time but we can never distort everything, like objects, people, buildings, movement, Solberg has taken something from context and modified it so we can have this satisfaction of fun.
I'll give another example imagine your in the kitchen, everything is in order like cookers over there, cutlery in the draw, the washing machine is under the work top, sinks over in the corner. With 3D manipulation wouldn't it be intriguing to re-develop a kitchen? change its functionality ? Then all of a sudden your utilities are displaced, everything is not in accordance anymore.
That's what Solberg has done.
